I think The Chariot really represents the look the Eibach best. Hope the best to you in your decision friend.

Be aware that he has a kit, which exaggerates the drop. AFAIK, the H&R's drop is the same as Eibach both of which are not that low. I know a couple of guys have swapped out Eibach's for springs such as Tein S-techs & Canuck Motorsports to get a lower drop.

Indeed and I agree with that but the reason I considered Eibach was that they're considered by many to be the best performance oriented spring. But if whoever is considering them is going from the drop and not so much performance then you're right and I think thats just what he's looking for is the best drop..

thanks... the car is a 5speed too. The mirror covers... the next set I put on will be nightshaded before I install/paint em. These stick out just a little too much for my taste, hopefully that dosn't change the light output too much during the day. They are hardly visible under full sunlight. hmmmmmm something to think about. I need another set, because the wires on the passenger side one broke clean off right at the connection and it don't work now. Oh well, wanna sell me yours? Cheap?

Nah, don't wanna sell the mirror covers. I've already primed them and painted them with one coat of black but it cracked for some reason so I have to figure out what I did wrong.

Jon thanks for your pics, that helps a lot.

Now does anybody have any comments on the supposedly very stiff ride of the Eibachs? Myself, I think the struts matter more than the springs for ride and handling. And I would prefer a progressive spring that gets nice and stiff at the end of travel rather than bottoming out, so Eibachs sound like the ideal spring for me.

Here are some pics of my 5-Speed w/ Eibachs/Illuminas and 18s before my coilovers. The drop was great. I don't think I scraped it but once in 1 1/2 years. I definitely give them credit for being a sporty spring. Handled well, but not as good as my K-Sports.

A friend with a '95 just got them and I they're great, "very stiff at the end of travel.." I like em personally, but one test I did and not on purpose was I went over railroad tracks kinda fast, well just don't do that too often. But, thats just cause I forgot I wasn't driving my car. When I accelerated the rear didn't sag and at and around corners the car felt quite stable. I think it may be what you're looking for after everything I've heard you say, that or progress. But progress if you want something a little softer with more drop.

After riding around in my sentra with 450/350 the Eibachs feel smooth as butter. Its really hard to compare views because one persons definition of harsh or stiff could be compleatly different from anothers. Cut intrax on stock SE struts is harsh, and it bottoms out often. Eibach/AGX on 2f/1r is light years nicer in terms of handling and comfort. But Once you crank up the struts the ride suffers like crazy.

Thanks...your ride would probably be better on Illuminas, which are known to be much smoother than AGXs.

What you're saying seems to be that Eibachs are stiff but they don't bottom out. On the H-Techs my ride is definitely not smooth but it's tolerable especially on 1 or 2, but driving around town I do bottom out sometimes because the springs just weren't designed right, IMO. Bottoming out is worse than the stiffest spring, it sucks! I think once I get SFCs the Eibachs will be really nice.

It's really a question of drop/travel. For a given amount of drop on a given car, the springs need to be a certain stiffness, and if they're not that stiff the ride will be nicer UNTIL you bottom out and then it's just a crash since your car is not suspended. From what I've gathered Eibachs are the proper stiffness for their drop.
