What Nissan's did you own previously?

If you have pictures of them include them and also include a list of any mods. Even include any previous cars.

I for one have owned a:

1996 Nissan 240sx S-14 (Ghetto Project) 275-300Whp
Mods: Custom turbo kit w/ T3/t04E, Top mount exhaust manifold, 3in. SS Turbo-back exhaust, Tockico blues, Tein S-tech springs, S-afc, Greddy turbo timer, Z32 MAF, 18" 5Zigen wheels, Adj. Tie rods, Polyurethane bushings, Short throw shifter, some audio equipment, and probably more than what I am thinking of. Fun car though.

Due to a growong family I need to get the Max.
I got a lot of hopes for the 4-door. I like the look of the car and so far it feels like it can handle. So, it seems to be read for some mods hopefully soon.

Enjoy

nice rides but please post in members ride section.

DR-Max Jun 16, 2006 11:35 PM

To the thread starter,

Looks like you just needed an excuse to post pics of your cars in the main 4th gen forum. This needs to go to the "Other Cars" forum. The Maxima photos can go to the "Member's Rides" forum.

200kMax Jun 17, 2006 04:40 AM

wtf? :topic:

anyways, i owned a 92 240sx s13 style.. stock ka24 w/ cai. good torque, great handling, but no mid or high end power.
even had the HUD. had it for half a year. eventually sold it to cousin who crashed it few times, and gave it back to me to put a sr20. never got it done and resold it for 600 bux.

4urxtc Jun 17, 2006 07:09 AM

Sorry for putting it in the wrong section my bad. As far as just wanting to post up my cars. Hell yeah I like to let people admire them. I know I did. Yes, I did sell both of them, the 240 was a problem child, the 300ZX was a maintanence whore, and the Max is the family mobile that replaced both :mecry: I am hoping I will be able to have just as much fun with this one.

I know I know what a :newbie: mistake posting in here like this.......

Again sorry.

CreativeDesignz Jun 17, 2006 07:13 AM

Thanks I loved it but it cost me way to much to do the maintanence. :run:

Loved a '91 Sentra SE-R. Ultimate sleeper, totally stock. Bought used in '93, for $7800, beat the hell out of it for a year and sold it for $7000. Bought a Yamaha V-MAX. The Sentra had no cruise control, I couldn't take it any longer but I once (becuase I was a stupid stupid teenager) drove it at 130mph on a freeway in rural Illinois in the pitch black darkness w/o any lights on, with only the stars to light my way for 5 minutes. Made 20 bucks!

D-Bo Jun 17, 2006 07:09 PM

In for the thread being moved...

But in response to the question, between myself and my parents we've had:

88 Stanza
85, 87, 88, 91, 97 and 2000 Maximas

Only my 4th gen has been modded besides stereos in a few of the others.

RockfordMax Jun 17, 2006 07:13 PM

Dad had a sentra before the max. I inherited the max(paid for inheritance ftl), and it's the first and only car I've ever owned.

Apparition Jun 17, 2006 07:29 PM

Parents had a '97 fully loaded Altima special edition (w/e), pretty nice car though. Uncle had a Nipon Silvia, the later S14 model.

tlrmax Jun 18, 2006 08:50 PM

I had a 92 Nissan NX2000 which got totaled by some moron with no insurance then bought the max which I still have. Now I bought a 2005 Pathfinder for the wifey. I miss the nx2000, amazing handling and good power especially for back in the day.

fro98665 Jun 18, 2006 09:21 PM

jman7777 Jun 18, 2006 09:27 PM

Between my family and I 95 max SE, 97 GXE, 02 Alti 3.5, 04 max.

4urxtc Jun 18, 2006 10:54 PM

WOW... Lots of Nissan families in here. That is sweet. I see lots of people with multiple Sentra's and Maxima's over the course of life. I have owned every import there is basicly. Well, there are a few I haven't but just about all of them. I have never been real consistent with car families. The closest I got was with Honda/Acura's.. I just need to settle down and stop buying and selling cars. It gets real expensive and the wife gets mad after the 3rd to 4th car change for the year. So, hopefully I don't get bored and change my mind about the Max. I have also recently thought about selling my SC400 so I can also get a Max. ,but mine would have to be an SE. Anyway, sorry about rambling on here. :slap:

Dexter Jun 19, 2006 07:19 AM

My dad had a blue hardbody pickup, he taught me to use manual shifts in it. He sold it and the new owner uses it to haul oranges. It's still going strong, after that Nissan is vehicle of choice in my family.

sonicrunch Jun 19, 2006 07:26 AM

'90 Stanza

This thing was rock solid. I pulled a 16' aluminum boat w/ a 70 horse Evinrude with it.

Chickan Jun 19, 2006 07:55 AM

I owned a 1990 300zx NA, 5 speed 2+2, owned it for about a year before I bought my max.

In the above, notice the bucket-o-bolts and directions :)

I had the whole top and front of the engine stripped off at one time, I learned so much from that car.

My mom owned a '90 Nissan Axxess when I was 15 or so, this was the first Nissan I owned personally.
