my temp gauge keeps going up to the 2nd line below hot and down back to normal. like its floating i think maybe its the temp sensor can anyone verify this...also does anyone have a diagram of where its located or point me to it..

 

They are next to each other in the coolant log near the upper radiator hose. One has a grey plug and the other is a smaller rubber plug. You can see themm here, just behind the wire loom comming off the rad hose.

 

Chances are the gauge is telling you that something isn't right with your cooling system.
