Starting about a month ago MIL came on. Hooked up my handy dandy Acctron reader, pulled an EVAP general code. Cleared it, checked my gas cap, etc. Code returned, cleared it. Today I went to clear it again and the reader tells me no codes to clear. yet light remains on. According to the reader all systems are ready and pass. Any ideas?

 

Pull the codes using the screw on the side of the ECU.
Perhaps your "handy dandy Acctron reader" is lying to you.

 

Using the ECU screw worked. Code pulled and MIL cleared.
