How many org members know if their cel light is actually working or if it's burned out?

I know I haven't seen my light come on in almost 3 years so I assume something is wrong! Actually it's a blessing in disguise. I periodically scan my ecu for codes and that damn light isn't there to aggravate me!

 

as soon as you trun the key to the "ON" position the CEL light should light up and then go off as soon as you start the car... if not then the bulb is burned out or there is some other problem.
