I have a with my 4th gen max. One is that when I dont drive my car for a day and I start it up, put it into reverse it sputters and struggles to stay running although it keeps running... just wondering if this is from the age of the car or if something is wrong and i can do something to fix it.

It sounds like the engine coolant temp sensor. After the car has been sitting and its around 20 C, disconnect it and check the resistance. Should be around 2.5k. At operating temp / 90 C, you should get .25k ohms(250 ohms). If you dont get those readings then thats what your problem is.
