So my 98 I30 has a problem thats got me stumped, it only happens at speeds above 70mph and only on windy days.

I get a groaning type noise from the passenger side wheel area.

Any ideas, sorry i cant be more specific.

wind hitting a fender insert...LOL....not idea....usually i would say wheel bearing but somehow i dont tink so this time

 

Yea wheel bearing makes sense excpet the speed, and more importantly the wind... doesnt make sense then...i dont know...hoping somone else has an idea...

 

Which direction is the wind blowing from?
