First, I apologize if I am in the wrong forum.
I want new rear speakers that are cheap but do their job.
So how 'bout this one "Pioneer TS-A1681R 6-1/2" 4-Way Speakers 6-1/2" Car Speakers" do these fit and stuff like that?
Thank you

They should fit, Maxima's speaker sizes are 6.5" all around.

those pioneer 4 ways are nice sounding speakers, very crisp an d clear, but they wont work with the bose headunit, because the bose speakers have a resistance of either 8 or 10ohms and the pioneers are 4ohm, if im not mistaken, some kind of adapter may be needed. I am running the bose speakers off of a pioneer head unit and had to purchase one for that, but im not sure how it works the other way around....

No aftermarket speakers will work the the stock bose radio. You have to replace the HU first. You might be able to use a line output converter and an amp to run the speakers (not sure but it sounds plausible).

Are you sure the maxima fits 6.5 inches without a bracket because I used 6.75 in my 1997 in the rear deck and they fit perfectly?

Also, look around for something better than pioneer. Even if you are looking for something cheap, there is better out there.

i have the d-161rev series and it doesnt bolt up perfectly in the rears. u have to wedge it in in order to get all 4 bolts in. but the sound is decent enough. i agree w/ pioneer speakers not being the greatest, but for the rear deck it should be good enough.

i have alpine type r components in front. if anything the fronts should have better sound and use the rears as fill space.
make sure u use a decent amp too.

Oh yeah, I totally missed the whole rear deck speaker comment...Yeah get the pioneers unless there is some cheaper ones that you know are the same or a little better. The rear speakers won't be heard that much once you get front speakers anyways. I got polk db for the rear, and I am planning on getting the momos for the front. The momos will be the ones I hear the most and the dbs will just fill in the back a little.
