Could the EVAP Canister control valve cause the knock sensor to read bad as well or they are totally unrelated. I got the two of them at once.
I just ordered a KS off ebay and want to know if I sould order a EVAP contol valve from the dealer. TIA.
2 of my good long time friends who works in Nissan parts tell me to change the EVAP 1st and see if they both go away. (Reid in 5Towns and Eddie at Queens). Whats your thoughts.

See, I did that and on the NYC Maximas, but I was under the impression that the EVAP Canister vent control valve was located behind the rear wheel? I see some diagrams with it on the intake manifold.

The EVAP system is under the car back by the gas tank. The canister vent valve is a small black round thing in your engine bay on the top of hte manifold.

Yeah, I just did a whole write up on it. Thanks for the heads up!
