My dealer puts on aftermarket- and uses aftermarket antifreeze on out of warranty cars.
I have bought (not on the MAx) replacement radiator hoses that were 1 inch too short but fit

Goodyear hoses are really nice if you can find them, but the hoses from AZ are good and do the job. ABout the same quality with other leading brands.

you do understand that Nissan hoses aren't made by nissan right ?
every manu. has people who design the hoses for them. If they are carried at the dealership 90% of the time its the same as OEM. Nissan nor does any of the other car companys have the same to make their own products. They just give a list of specs and everything they want, the pick out a manu. and send it and get them to make it. Only thing would be that they should resend it back to nissan for nissan branding and then nissan reships it out to dealerships.
honestly a clear case that i've found in the pass was, a TRD air filter was just a rebadged K & N filter down to the last model number. But TRD was like 110 and K & N was about 55. Yes this isn't a nissan product but its the same theories. I haven't picked up enough nissan parts yet to find common things like that YET.

TurTLe is correct most car manuf. donot produce thier own parts. You can buy most minor parts at an aftermarket shop, for less and most times better quaility than OEM.

Umm that statement is kinda on the line. When it comes to hoses and clamps, and simple **** then autzone or advanced auto is good. But when it comes to quality parts stick to OEM just dont order them from your local dealership unless you have too.Originally Posted by semaj3708
