i dont know how it happened. but my top center strut bolt on my rear strut was a bit loose. so i thought. no big deal. ill just simply take the strut off. tighten up, and off i go. damn. then it hit me. as i was about to put everything together. and i start tightening the top 2 strut bolts to try to put things back together. and so it happend. one of the strut bolts came off. i dont believe i overtorqued it but what the hell???


now i gotta find me a top strut mount bracket. ranting...

 

The fastest way to get one would be the dealer, or a junk yard. The junkyard should be ok as it is a solid piece of metal, and not like the front one with the insullation inside it.

 

that sucks. nothing you can do but replace the mounting.

At least it didn't come off on a tight corner.

 

yeah, got another one today. had to suck up to dealership and pay 30+tax. since i needed the car asap. only 1 dealer in nyc had it in stock..koeppel nissan.

had to walk a long a$$ distance too. sux not having another car..
good thing its simple to install
