I have a KS code and a 3 way catalyst (right bank) code. I dont have money to get the KS right now and I was woundering what the 3 way catalyts code means and if I can wait to fix these when I get more money or if not fixing these will harm my car. I have the original cat on the car cause I am assuming that is what the 72 code is but I would like to know exactly what it means.

 

You can drive on a bad KS forever, you just lose a good 20hp because it defaults to a safe ignition scheme.

3 way CAT, I don't know about. The cat should be OK as long as you haven't blown antifreeze through it due to head gasket blow out. It's only platinum ( I think) and that stuffs pretty inert.

I think your only danger is when it comes time to smog. Anyone?
