cat back exhaust

i cant search so go easy on me lol. I'm just getting ideas, i knew i shouldnt have listened to audio clips and videos haha. I am a fan of a deep tone, not a coffee can rattle sound. I also like to notice the gain. So if i wanted to do a cat back system and not pay out the rear, what are we looking at as far as price, brand, looks, and most importanly performance?

also is a CAI really worth it over a SR? I've never had a CAI because of i dont want it to get rain, snow, mud, etc all over it.

i have cattman cat-back, and cattman y-pipe, yes it was pricey but the sound is uncomparable IMO ... cattman cat-backs around 600 ... there's also a soundclip stickie on the 4th gen forum, dunno if u were aware, take a look. theres also an exhaust group deal going on in the Group deal forum, check that out (stay away from ebay IMO again ) good luck

thnx for the info =]. I didnt see a sound clip in the thread for the OBX Catback, does anyone have it? OBX is a solid name, and if it produces a deep tone like the megan without the "off gas" tin can effect i would go with that.
