What is the name of the hose that connects the a/c compressor to the a/c condenser? The mechanic said it was highside or sum bs. Can anyone help me?

It doesn't have a name per say, it's called the "hose that goes from the compressor to the condensor". It is indeed on the high side of the system.

 

so then wat do i ask for from the store?

 

njmaxseltd is telling you all need to get the right hose...just don't ask for ralph. any parts store or dealer is going to ask you..the hose goes from where to where?...your answer will be "compressor to condenser".

 

if they know what they are doing that will ask you if you need the pressure or the return line. You need the pressure line.
