Window gets stuck

Hey guys,
Well ever since I baught my '98 last year, my passenger side window never seems to go down fully. It appears to get stuck with about 1.5" inches to go till it completly goes down. The window kinda tilts a little as if it gets stuck off of the track at the part where it gets stuck. Now my question is - is there a how-to on cleaning the window track or even opening up the door, so i can straighten the window out?

Thanks again.

No "How-to", just remove the door's panel and take a look. They are fairly straight-forward, and you should be able to figure out what is going on.

Pop the panel and see whats up. I bet one of your foam blocks came off the inside of the panel and is keeping the window from going all the way down. This happened just the other weekend on my friends 96.

Hey,
yup - did exactly what u guys recommended, popped off the door panel...and I did find the problem. Just as you had said, a big piece of styrofoam was blocking the path of the window. I just took it out cuz there was no other way around it. Unforutnely, the window does rattle a little bit when closing the door with the window all the way rolled down. Hopefully i won't be facing any more problems.

Glad to hear you fixed it. You could always go back in there at a later date and do some sound deadening in the door panel.
