as far as performance gains, there are none. but if u just want to eliminate ur cat than u can use it. but dont do it just cuz u expect it to give u a few HP. Also it will make your exhaust sound a little raspy. thats bout it.

It wont fit a 95/96 if there is no bung for the rear 02.

thats a straight pipe... not a catalytic converter... if you have an exhaust its gon be f-cking loud. i had one on my car and i had the apexi WS2 (QUIET) and it made it loud as hell. i took that crap off immediately and bought myself a carsound (random technology) high flow cat, and i dont regret it!

as stated above, that is just a pass through pipe.

I had one on my car for awhile, but my exhaust was too loud. I replaced it with a high flow cat, and it sounds like the same (muffler was the problem, not the cat).

Going with a "test" pipe will make your exhaust stink a bit, and not give you any performance boost. And as said before, if you have a 95/96, you would have to get a cat-back with an exhaust bung in it (like I did originally) to install the rear o2. Or you can tie the O2 sensor off to the side like I did

youll be killing birds and beaching whales with that test pipe :-D haha

after putting on my high flow i actually felt (subjective of course) a power gain because it put some backpressure into my exhaust again.

I know about it a little bit...it is not actually a catylitic converter, it is simply a mid-pipe. they sell one on custommaxima.com as well that is the real deal. In addition, the one on e-bay has no hole for the rear o2 sensor, thus you will be throwing a code if you install it...and it does just boltup without modification...this particular one is made for 97-99 models i believe. The one off custommaxima.com has a predrilled hole for the o2 on 95-96 models and is a bit more pricey for quality. i would just get a y-pipe to be honest though and screw the small fish. just my .02

Cattman sells a cat converter with proven dyno gains. Give him a call. I have it on my car and it changed the exhaust tone a lil, but I think my old one was just worn after 160k miles.
