b-pipe without resonator, test pipe, and stock muffler........ is this setup loud at all? thanx for your input

 

It likely won't sound all that great, if that's what you're asking. No clue how loud it would be. Not having a resonator on your b-pipe is like a one-way ticket to a ricey-sounding exhaust, though.

 

I'm actually about to order me a b-pipe soon and I talked to a few guys and they told me that the b-pipe without the resonator sounds a mess. Rice-a-roni

 

it'll be much louder than stock but shouldn't be too bad if you have a stock y-pipe. be aware that aftermarket b-pipes are a larger diameter than the stock, so your stock rear section (muffler) will not bolt up correctly; you will need to have it welded.

if you are planning to get an aftermarket y-pipe, as you damn well better be, get a resonated b-pipe. it'll be way too loud without a resonator. not a good kind of loud, either.

 

I have WS Y hi flo cat straight to a perf muffler without a resonator
Put it this way, if I want it to be loud it is. If I try to drive quietly its not too bad.
