?Caliper Piston Question?
?Caliper Piston Question?
I had to replace my driverside rear caliper. I did it fine. Obviously, I had to change change the pads on both side. When I removed the caliper on the driver's side the small piston is sticking out. How can I get it to go in? I tried pushing it by hand, spinning it with pliers, squeezing it with clamps. It doesnt budge inward. It's sticking out a decent amount. I actually removed the caliper and it's driving me crazy!!! Can someone please help me ASAP with this? Thanks in advance!!!
The piston should have four slots on it. There is a special wrench you can get (autozone- for a few bucks) that fits on a rachet and into the slots. It can be done with pliers but its a pain because the keep slipping out.The piston needs to screw in (clockwise).
