**Need Muffler Help ASAP!**

I have been waiting since Thursday to get in contact with Warpspeed. I have called 5 times since then....I even left my number but Dallas has not attempted to call me.

The lady who answers the phone has no knowledge of mufflers, I guess she just places orders.

Very Bad Customer Service!!

The reason I am trying to contact Warpspeed is because they sold me the Dynomax Clone Q Muffler (1.5 years ago) that was on my 96 Maxima before (it was quiet...until it started rattling from the tip).

I am looking for a quiet muffler and I need recommendations!

I have a Y-Pipe, Hi-Flow Cat, 2.5" from the cat back, resonated b-pipe, and an intake.

I purchased the Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler (17733) because most of you guys recommended it. The problem is that this muffler is very loud and gives off deep drones!!

I live in NYC and cops like to find any excuse to give out tickets.

Please help!

Aren't the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers supposed to be
#17747-2.25 & #17748-2.5 for Maximas?

Difference in what.... sound? If you're so worried stay with stock or get an A33 muffler.

for Apexi WS if you can find one. Its probably the most quiet of the aftermarket mufflers. I have it on my car and no one ever says is sounds too loud.

What do you think it will sound like with a stock exhaust system and a after market Y-pipe? maybe getting a intake later on....

The intake will be loud. It was very loud at WOT on my VQ30. I have a y pipe + catback and the exhaust isnt that loud.

Yeah, I want to get this muffler, think everytime you have a catback with the new muffler like this it will make some type of sound, I just wonder how loud it will be with just the after market Y-pipe? Does anyone have an after market Y-pipe with a after market muffler like this and everything else stock? if so let me hear your opinions...

I think my setup is loud because of my hi-flow cat....there might be something wrong with it

also...I have 2.5" piping from the catback.

Yeah, I think the Hi-flow cats make a BIG difference in sound, thats why Im stying away from getting one or even chainging my b-pipe, So hopefully someone has the same setup im looking for and can help me in my decision...

i have a warpspeed y, stock resonator, cat, b-pipe, and a cheap ebay coffee can muffler welded on the end, its really raspy sounding, but thats cuz the muffler is a POS. thank god tomorrow my FlowMaster will be here so i can put it on and not have to deal with the raspyness anymore. im hoping it will be really low pitched sounding.

does anybody know if welding a 2.5 inlet muffler on the end of a 2.25 (stock) pipe makes it sound raspy??
2.25 is stock exhaust diameter, right? i forgot...
