How to Change Orange to Clear Corners?

Does anyone know how to change the front bumper oem orange corners to clear? I saw that they are sold on e-bay, but if it can be done I'd like to do it myself.

You have to buy the lights from eBay. The only way is to buy the lights from somewhere. You cannot modify the orange stock lights.

i think you're talking about the bumper lights rather than corners. if thats so, then yes its pretty easy to do it yourself. I was in the same situation as you, but i gave it a try and did it. all you need is a flathead and a philips. first you get a flathead, and put it between the turn signal [the longer one] and the sidemarker and pull the signal part out. and you'll see from there, all you need is a little bit of common sense =]

If by saying corners you mean turn signal lights then I have seen a thread on how to modify the stock tails to make them red/clear. So if you can find that thread then you should be able to figure out how to change the corners. However the end result was illegal because it did not have the reflective properties of the stock lights.

ummm, you need common sense. the question was can you turn them to clear from orange, not how to remove them. and i think he was talking about the taillights maybe, cuz u cant change the bumper lights from orange to clear, but you can make your own red/clear tails.

Yeah this guy needs to make the question more specific, he is leaving it open for possibly two different situations to be talked about. If the question is regarding the front bumper lights, simply read your owners manual (they even provide pictures) and if its in regards to the TAILLIGHTS, then you can either buy them off of ebay which is probably the way to go esp. if you have never tried opening up the lights yourself, but if you dont feel like dishing out money right now then yes it is POSSIBLE to change the orange part of the taillight to clear and there are many threads on it...just RESEARCH.

Sorry about the confusion. My question was regarding the front orange corners. And I was wondeirng if you can change them from the oem orange color to clear without buying new ones off ebay. ie can the orange plastic lens be switched to clear or if you take of the orange plastic lens is there a clear lens underneath.

No. There is no clear lense under the orange.

You need to completely replace them if you want clear lights.

Are you sure about that? I figured the ebay ones are just off brand versions of the custommaxima clears. Has anyone used the ebay ones and had problems, or are they good?

Dang I just if they get all the girls, I'll have to get some asap.

mine are from ebay, got them for like 25$ shipped brand new. they fit fine. they are also the diamond cut clear corners which are actually clearer than the regular clear corners.

All of them, no matter where you get them from, will not fit as well as the stock lights. However, unless you're right up next to them, you won't notice.

Before installing them, run a bit of clear silicon caulk around the edge where the lense connects to the housing of each light. There are usually few gaps where water can get in when it rains.
