Instructions for removing head unit (non bose)

Instructions for removing head unit (non bose)

I have a 97 maxima with the non bose head unit which im looking to replace. Can someone please provide me with the instructions on doing so? Thank you.

take off the panel around the shifter. unscrew the ash tray screw, remove. carefully pry out upper vent/clock/flasher/defroster thing, it'll pop out. remove 4 screws holding radio/climate control stack onto the car, undo the wiring harnesses, undo screws that hold radio in place, undo screws that hold plastic dash molding onto the front of the radio/climate control stack, remove radio.

Thanks for the info fellas. The pic shows a sigle din stereo. My stereo looks like the bose unit but isnt. Did they make a HU that looked like the bose cassette/cd combo?
