9004 to H4 conversion?

hey guys, wondering if a 9004 to an H4 conversion is possible, thinking it should be the same. I've searched through all 24 pages of this forum and found a thread for a how-to write up on a 9004 to 9007 conversion. Thinking you can just replace the 9007 harness with an H4 one......any thoughts or anyone actually do this before? thanks

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=312531 the 9004 to 9007 conversion thread if anyone is interested

Goto relinemax, there you will find the conversion for the AE lights. Along with the conversion you have to change from 9004 to H4. It will help a little. mainly though the ground wire is the same color. you just need a test light and turn on your lights, then brights to find which wire is what. But Yes, just buy a harness, (I bought the HD one just in case) and splice it in. Do not know about it fitting in the factory USDM housing though.

how are you going to fot the bulb into the headlight? it will not. 9004 ad 9007 is the base, so with little mod it fits fine. Why would you want to do h4 anyways?

oryou could go cefiro's, and that will fulfill your h4 needs

I don't need the H4, was just wondering if they would've been able to fit...electrically should be no problem but I don't have an extra headlight housing to try it out on so I'm prob just gonna get an upgraded 9004 harness and leave it at that. Thanks for your help guys.

If you'er goign to do the upgraded harness for 9007's you should just make the harness yourself.
