Gauge Cluster light question

I'm going to be replacing my lights behind my gauges with red 194 inverse lights, but I have no idea how many bulbs I need to buy. Its a 97 SE. Anybody know how many I need?

Search is your good friend.

Try this:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....light=194+bulb
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....light=194+bulb
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ight=gauge+led

And whatever you do, just don't touch the gauge needles.

Happy modding!!!

Ah thanks. Is search free or do you have to pay? I've heard rumors of both. And what about sanding off the orange underneath? I'm assuming if I'm carefull I'll be ok.

You got to pay to search unless you use the cheap way and use yahoo and tell it to search for anything that is from Maxima.org.

You can sand the orange part off of the needles to let the light shine though more but it is optional.

Sanding with care is good. What I mean is, do not remove the needles.
