Warp. or Bud.

Ok, now I've been hearing different opinions about both Warpspeed & Budget y-pipes. Budget y-pipes, some people complain about a hissing noise coming from the flex section, is that because they have aluminized & not stainless?
The only thing I've heard about Warpspeed is delays on shipping. I believe you can also get a stainless y from Warp. If anyone has had problems with either one I'd like to hear what they are.

Thanks,
Geo T.

Get the cheaper one. they're both the same. Choose between SS and aluminized and just call both places up and buy it from the cheaper of the two.

I'm going to get a SS y-pipe, but is anyone experiencing any problems w/Budget or Warpspeed?

I've had my budget one for 4 years now and it has never given me any problems. It actually still looks pretty new. Just a little dirty. I would suggest the budget one, but I'm sure the warpspeed one is just as good.

So, does that mean if you can do it all over again, you'd get the Warpspeed?

they are like exacly the same. the difference is one is made in Canada (budget) and one is made in the USA (warpspeed). so whatever country's economy you want to support. doesnt matter

Now the hissing noise people are getting is not from the flex section, but probably from the flange or somewhere else.

I'm going ahead and ordering from lssexhaust (budget), both f-pipe (it looks more like an f than a y) & also a b-pipe w/my stock muffler!

I think your warranty is if it rusts through the pipe!
You should have got a SS pipe.

I got the warpspeed SS pipe a couple years ago, still looks good after two Michigan winters, no complaints here. If you live in an area where the roads get salted heavily in the winter, I'd definitely suggest a SS pipe.

I had my aluminized budget y-pipe for 1 day and I loved it! No probs and got it 4 days after ordering it. But just go with the cheapest theres no diff in the pipes just the name.

sorta unrelated.

i have a WSP y and it dominates.

im just curious as to the hissing it makes from 5500 to redline.

what are the mechanics behind that? meaning....what exactly is happening when im hearing that. (aside from gaining 20hp, holla)
