Anyone purchase Lower Control Arms from Ebay?!

I read form someone on the forums that that's not a good idea? Any other opinions?

I got best price from autohausaz.com.

The vendor should say the origin of the part whether it's OEM or aftermarket. If they don't then email them. A reputable place will respond quickly.

google it, there's lots of hits on these.

I have one, It's suprisingly high quality. It was under $100 I believe and it came with bushings and all.

I ordered one off ebay and it was pretty good. Came with bushings and was a solid piece. It was $68 shipped. The user was: macautopartsdiscounts

the stuff you buy on ebay is the same as you would get from autozone or any parts store like that. it's not oem but generally good quality. just like any part you can sometimes have bad luck but overall i don't see a problem with it.

(i bought some off ebay too... installing next week, i'll let you know how it goes)

Just remember folks to replace stabilzer end link bushings while you're at it, chances are they're bad also, these can be purchased at any parts store or the dealership. This part is sold as a kit and is relatively inexpensive.

So is mine. I'm hoping that the control arms/ball joints/bushings/alingment will cure it.

Anyone know if you can get a socket on the balljoint nut? Or will I have to use one of those closed ended wrenches? I haven't gotten up the motivation to go out in the heat yet.

Welp, I've had these LCA's from ebay for about 6 months now. I've had no problems with them, install was a direct swap with no fitment issues. I also got the whole kit from them, includeing the tie rods, sway bar end links, etc. For the price you can't go wrong, quality is just as good as OEM.

Thanks! That's what I was afraid of. Looks like I need to buy some wrenches! I only have those up to 15mm.

Round 1:

19mm ball joint nut vs open ended wrench

winner: 19mm nut

%$#@!!!!

Guess I have to cut that mother fawker off somehow

I even stripped the bolt on the inside of the swaybar link. But managed to get it off.
