I really want to get a y-pipe. Custommaxima's group deal ends on friday and already 10 people have signed up. What I want to know is,

Will I pass inspection in NJ. (emissions here are tough)

Also, what do you people do with your stock y-pipes. Do you still keep them or just get rid of them?

I passed my emissions fine twice up here in R.I. , I always put a bottle of Gauranteed to Pass stuff in my car a week ahead of the test. I kept my OEM Y-Pipe because when I go to sell my car I want it to be stock and also if I ever failed emissions I could just stick the stock pipe back on.

 

when you do emmissions make sure the car is hot.. drive it around for an hour.. the two pre cats are only used during cold and startup...

i kept my stock y pipe because you can never be too sure
