I love my maxima compared to my 85 jimmy its like a Benz and a civic, And I love how fast it can go, I top out my jimmy at 77mph...But I still dont know if im going to do the whole tuner look or the flashy big dubs look...

I dont think your going to find a better all around car for the price. Good gas mileage, reliable, decent power, nice styling, roomy, nice interior, sporty for a sedan.

When I am sober I love my car. If I bust out too many lines and get a little high, I think its out to get me. Smoking, falling apart or something. haha, I gotta lay off the drugs.

But otherwise, I love it.

No comparing a max and a jimmy is like comparing a max and a jimmy, the civics are better than jimmy's and benz are much better than maximas too.

 

I beg to differ, im not one of the "Maximas are the best car ever made hands down" guys, but i HATE benz's my moms got one and not only is it slow, poorly equipped (even though technically its well equipped, the options suck) and its the most un reliable car i have ever seen

 

It is faster then my old 10speed

 

I think the fact that were all registered for this site and post rather frequently is proof enough of some sort of affection.

In less than a year I have replaced or needs replacement.
Replaced
Knock sensor
EGR valve
Starter
Speed sensor
Both axles....
Wear Items
Battery
Clutch

Needs fixing.
Parking brake has been sticking for some time
Belts
And its still throwing a CEL for the damn EGR, cleaned and replaced everything.
Seems as though I have had every common Maxima trouble spot.
Do you realized what 9months of ownership means, with this many repairs?? no money for mods, or actually loosing interest in modding this thing.
