well its coming up on being 10 years old. ive only had it for a year and a half. the hood repairs are from when one of my drunken friends decided it would be funny to crawl on it. the fender was my fault, i hit a vice that was sticking out of my dads shop. all the dents on the left side(drivers side) were there before i acquired it. they were all minor but i want it to look really clean after its painted. the rear bumper was replaced cuz it already had a crease from the previous owner backing into something. again not too noticeabe but i want it to look really nice.the right side dents on the back door area was me but the one on the front passenger door was there. most are just from the abuse of everyday driving. ***** hitting it in the driveway, car doors being opened and smacking it etc. i will definetly post after pics too.

there really should be more of a feather edge on all those repairs. 1"bare metal, 1" primer/sealer, 1" base coat. otherwise, looks decent, good luck with the paint.

i wet sanded a car at my work, when u wet sand u just "skuff" the clear coat, use light pressure with about 1000-1500 gritt sand paper and soap and water, experiment on a small section of the car and wipe it dry, it should look gray and skuffed after, this then can be buffed out with a wool pad and alot of compound, leaving a fresh finish on the clear.

If you gonna paint it, you don't have to go as fine sandpaper as 1000-1200 grit...thats for buffing. You can use 400-600 grit wet sand.
