They said that the 95-96 JWT ECU will work with the 97-99 cars the only thing different is that you would have to change out the O2 sensors to be the 95-96 kind in order to work correctly, but the gains would the same as on the 95-96 cars.

 

well, the only way to find out is to test it...

Do you have a 99 Cali-spec or 99 Fed. spec? If it's a fed. spec, it's basically a 98 model. With cali-spec, there are extra emission equipment the ECU is keeping track of. I remember seeing some type of purge system and 2 extra O2 sensors. It's the same system as the 2K cali-spec.

 

Yea.. i am asking pretty much relating to the group deal. Yes, i have the fed 99, a non-cali model. Im guessing i cant stick a 95-96 ecu in the huh. So much for that extra 30 horses.
