Blue Maxima + Black Rims

I was wondering if anybody who has a blue, dark blue, maxima has put black rims on it? I've always liked black rims but idk how they'll look in person. I've checked out a bunch of sites that mix and match for you but its much different in person.

If anyone has post a pic please

This is my brother's max, not black but pretty dark. The dark wheels look fantastic in person

Umm maybe ask someone to photoshop your car and the rims you are looking at. ALso what kind of blue are you talking about. I have a Neptune Blue maxima and it doesn't look close to this blue.

This is the color blue of my max, a lot darker than the above ones, but I really like the last picture you put up. I think that color is called gun metal a grayish color

For what it's worth, I think it would probably look hot. And since Black is a neutral color, it would not clash with the blue.

I too think black wheels would look great on your car. Have you searched cardomain.com yet for pictures. There may be some cars on there with black wheels.

Having black rims would go well with the blue color you have, but i would not get completely black rims. It would be good if there was a little silver maybe on the edge.

Yea not to disagree with everyone but I just dont like dark wheels and a dark car. I think it's just too much. As as it sounds I think they clash. It just adds to much darkness to the car. To each his own tho.

:edit: Nismotic who's car is that?

Idk, I've never been too fond of black rims... makes the whole wheel look hollowed out at night and all you see is the brakes which kind of makes it look butt... but its my opinion, I always think you should match a dark color with a brighter one but not too bright, just enough to take notice

Have you tried tirerack? They let you try out the rims on your car and generate a picture of what they look like.

I did but like i said earlier I wanted some input from people who actually have it, and real pictures instead of an automated photoshop deal. They always look different in person and the pictures from members of the org are so much better

I think that black wheels could look goo dbut you want something brighter. I mean a black car with black wheels looks good because its a shadow effect but to dark of a blue or to light of a blue and it could look ugly.

If it was me I would say go with those 6 spoke enkei's you posted, I like when the wheels really contrast with the car (ie. black/dark cars with bright white/silver rims, white/light cars with black/dark rims), but I think if you do it right it'll still look great either way. The rosewood color on my Max has me totally torn as to how I go in terms of rim color and smoked or clear lights...

I think I will be going with the 6 spoked silver rims, I'm looking at all the blue/black rim combo's and not really feeling it. Thank you all for the input and pictures, the org has yet again helped me make a decision that could have gone terribly and expensively wrong. (Mainly because I love black rims, just not how it looks against blue XD. I even considered repainting the car to get black rims and like it, but I enjoy my magestic blue too much)

I almost bought the Battle Exe's but I found these and fell in love with them. Your rims look good. To the guy who said my car is tuff thanks but I'm not even done with it yet. I actually want 18's oor 19's. Depends on how good they'll look
