I bought my Maxima SE in Dec '94 at Gunn Nissan in San Antonio, Texas. My new car was not equipped with ABS, which was a $500 option installed by the dealership. I decided to leave ABS off... Don't know what it would cost you today.

This is possible but not practical. You would have to add tone rings and sensors at all four wheels, the ABS control unit, the ABS actuator, a couple of relays, and all the wiring to connect these components.
