my headrest seems to be getting less and less supportive. I can push on it and bend it around like a stuffed animal, it feels like it belongs in an old taurus or something. do any other headrests fit into these slots? are there ways to improve the stock ones? does anyone agree with this issue i am having?

mine feel pretty supportive, maybe yours are just really worn out or somehting, try a junkyard and maaybe you can pick some up off of a 98 or 99....

 

get the infinti i30 tilting headrest instead
looks great, works great.. can't go wrong since it's tilts as opposed to the stock Maxima ones..

 

that tilting feature is USELESS!! I have one and it uses friction to hold the tilt.. Whenever I would lean against the darn thing, it would tilt back straight again..

 

some peopel love the i30 headrest, some peopel hate it, just go to a junk yard, alot of them will fit, just take a tape measur with ya

I don't know or care if it is stock or not, they tilt. Do you want to come and test it out yourself?

 

so does mine (98 GXE). No reason to assume it isnt stock but what do i care lol
