I have a '96 Max GXE the dark green color, as of right now I have 17" Momo Sports w/ Nitto 555's, Eibach Springs & Tokico Shocks, all of the light mods done, etc. I am thinking about maybe getting exhaust, intake, and stillen front lip.. how does that sound, and what would you reccomend. Thanks

That's a lot of mods? =)

Anyway, an intake is fairly inexpensive and well worth it. Also, if you dont' have a FSTB, it's time to get one. You can feel a big difference in handling, and you can get one for less than $50.

ok... first you have very few mods.. this is what you should do:

1) FSTB and RSB, you should have these already.
2) Y- PIPE
3) Intake + Exhaust
4) Full Stillen Body Kit
........

personally i don't think just a front lip looks right. i feel as if you couldn't bother with the rest. aerodynamically it just doesn't seem right. but to each his own. engine wise, CAI or y pipe for sure.

Alright.. the whole aero-kit.. how much does that cost??? Another thing.. i know i don't have a lot of mods, but hey... i like sayin it ok? FSTB will be the next mod.. i guess through stillen... and will the aero-kit look alright w/ my color max.. it's that real dark green that looks black depending on the light and the angle w/ brown pinstriping... tell me what ya think, also what radio will fit in nice for a replacement of the one i have in now... tv screen is fine to have on but then i need a spot for a dvd thing... keep coming w/ the tips... thanks a lot and please make sure to address my question about the colors...neon lights underneath like the civics in f&f?? green or blue... i think green may look cool w/ my color max... tell me what ya's think/... and try to give me price ranges please .. thanks guys

bdogg, you probably have Black Emerald. Alot of people here are mod ****** and frown on anyone how hasn't modded the hell out of their car. You have a solid start, and in time will add more and more things on to your car. I personally wouldn't put neons under the car (kinda 80's in coolness), but you are the one that is driving it.

Riggy, I kinda agree that the front lip by itself makes it look like you forgot the rest, only because the front of the car in the side profile is much lower than the rest of the car. I bought the whole kit as a result.

Mods

i would go fstb, streetbeats is only 35 vs stillen for 200+??? that should be no contest, procarparts.com also has it for like 45 and offers good service...

intake is inexpensive like 50 bucks and easy to install, a ractiv intake does the job as opposed to overpriced stillen and can get at toucanindustires.com....

y pipe definetely, 15 -20 hp costs like 350 and up...

stillen front lip (170) i think looks good alone esp if u have mudguards it just flows with the car, obviously the whole kit looks tight but if u cant afford it, the front is good enough...

good luck

Personally, I think the aerokit looks really nice on the car. But, I don't think I would buy something that can get scraped over speed bumps or other potential obstacles. I thought about getting one, but my friends have said that body kits are not worth it because they'll most likely get scraped or damage from daily driving. BTW, the color of his car is deep evergreen.

go get a FSTB and a Rear Sway bar... if you have $ go for the stillen one cuz its fully adjustable...
about a stillen front lip? i agree with medicsonic... alone it looks awkward... the whole kit would run what 799? from avalon racing, less if there are any group deals running around
if you felt you've done enough on your exterior then do some interior work... indiglo guages, aluminium or carbon fiber trim, stereo, some trick interior lighting system
whatever floats your boat man... thats also part of the problem... you can spend 75Gs on ur max if u wanted to... and theres still more to be added (like that blue max in F&F STILL missing red/clear tails)

I noticed that... I figured he was just waiting till the altezzas came out for the '99s.
So exterior everyone apparently agrees that the full stillen kit would look good on my car even with the color, so when i save up the money i think i'll do that.
ill get the fstb and rsb because the better handling the happier i am.
Interior-wise, i have that tan interior and i don't think indiglo gauges or carbon fiber would look good. trick-lights sounds pretty cool, i want to get a new headunit because my display fades in and out randomly, so if anyone knows of anything good to get and the price of it let me know. Thanks

Do you think bright green neons would look cool under my max as it is real dark green, or do you think that neons underneath arent cool.. or would you say a different color, or do you think neons would be better inside, etc. give some specific examples
