Do you know if this will fit?

I want to get a pathfinder steering wheel from say a 2k1 of 2k2. The one that has the sounds control on the steering wheel for the Bose system. Will the steering wheel fit my 99 and will those sound controls work?

Yes, it will bolt on but the radio controls will not work without custom wiring. The airbag probably will not work either, because the connector is different.

Youll probably need the clock spring and do some splicing. I dont think you could make the 4th gen bose work with the steering wheel controls. But if the pathfinder has the same size radio you could swap that in too. Then wire everything up so it works as you like. Seems like a bunch of work for nothing.

I mean i would never go thru all that just to swap a wheel. If it would just fit and work then ok...but doing all the for nothing like you said isn't worth it.
