Have you checked the air filter recently? When was the last tune up? It may be that you just need a bit of maintenance?

Have you done any work on the car recently and forgotten to reconnect a sensor or something?

You say it's only when the car is starting from cold. Is it OK every time else?

Do some basic investigation and come back with some more info - could be a whole bunch of stuff.

well seems like u need to check and clean your temp sensor, and need a new knock sensor. also symptopms sound like tps, but if the firt two work ue set!

Hey,
I had the same two codes show up when I changed my intake. I checked all the sensors, and then disconnected the battery. A little while after, i put the battery cable back on, and reset the ecu (wihtout starting the car after connecting the battery) - the cehck engine light has not come on since (about 200 miles ago - knock on wood)

i suggest go ahead and remove your IAC valve..clean it up a bit and also clean your throttle plate while your there. Cleaning the AIC should help your idle since its what controls your idle. for the codes make sure your intake air temp sensor is connected...and make the wiring to it is not cut. now the knock sensor....thats likely something you have to change...if u have a good number of miles it may have just gone out...but before u spend any cash do a visual inspection of the wiring going to it.
