Misfire problem
It's funny, I can turbo a car, make mucho power, but I can't solve my hesitation problem... Here's the story...
I just swaped my nicely idling 555 cc injectors for a set of stock ones.
- Cylinder 5 misfire/ ignition circuit codes are thrown.
- Not a coil pack - I swaped coil packs, and no change. I swapped even more coil packs - no change.
- I'm getting spark, I tested this by pulling the coil out, putting a plug in contact, grounding the sides to the intake manifold, and I see sparks. Sparks are same intensity as in normally functioning cylinders.
- I listened to the injector with the ole hose in the ear trick, and it does indeed pulse regularly.
What gives?
The coil pack is obviously fine, I have new, gapped plugs in all cylinders...
Any ideas? I may try to run some fuel injector cleaner tomorrow seeing as how it looks like these injectors have been sitting around a while....
