CEL from snorkel removal

Ok basicly here it is folks. I removed the snorkel by d/c the connector from the sensor thingy and then i took it for a test drive. After that i went to reset the ECU and found out that i have no screw in it WTF, not to mention it was sealed!! So basicly i have a big orange CEL thats very annoying, can i reattach the sensor i took out of the snorkel and the CEL will go away? Can i d/c the battery for 10 min, then attach sensor on snorkel to the connector, attach battery then it will go away? how do i get rid of this CEL. Im postivive its from the connector i removed. Remember there is no screw in my ECU.

Unplug battery for two hours or so, or remove fuse labeled "ECU" from box.

Reset your ECU. The 99 screw is much smaller than the previous A32's.

can i reattach the sensor i took out of the snorkel and the CEL will go away? Can i d/c the battery for 10 min, then attach sensor on snorkel to the connector, attach battery then it will go away?
Any one of theses will work. Preferably unplug it longer than 10 mins.

Thank you guys for the support! I will do this after school tomorrow. Will this decrease my fuel effiency? Its the satisfaction of that growling noise that i love! Otherwize i would keep it on. Are there any major downsides of having the snorkel off? Im going to keep it off for a week and see how i like it.

I assume your talking about the battery right? im going to do the 2 hour d/c battery deal with fuse. I left it d/c for about 25 minutes with the connector on and no luck. CEL still on
