Transmission Hard to Shift

I've got a 99 5-speed with 135K miles. If the car sits for more than 48 hours without being driven, the transmission is almost impossible to shift between gears. The clutch pedal travel is gone. Engagement is about an inch off the floor. Once the car has been driven for about 30 minutes, everything is ok. Clutch pedal travel is restored to normal level and transmission slides easily from gear to gear. I've changed my transmission fluid religiously since I bought the car new: every 30K miles. What gives? Any ideas?

Thanks!

check your tranny fluid level, if it is low that can happen. Also, check to see if there is any play in the axle, as if your bearings are worn, which is a common problem, then chips of metal are floating around in your tranny fluid which will surely give you problems.
