Traction control

Is there any performance advantage to having the traction control always engaged or should it strictly be used for slippery conditions.

No real performance advantage, it's more of a safety advantage. You will be able to launch better with it off, assuming you're good with it. Didn't TC only come on autos though?

Anyway, it should be on by defaut. Leave it that way until you want to do something naughty.
