Fuel Gauge Problems
I have a 99se stick with 32000 miles. When filling up the tank(yes, Im sure its full), my fuel gauge doesnt indicate a full tank and settles above the 3/4 of a tank line. Its happened 3 times in a row now. Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

yea, the same exact thing has been happening to me (well, similar problem). I have 63k miles on my 96 Max and when I fill it all up, the gauge pointer goes all the way to the F. However, when I shut off my engine, and a few hours hour later, I find out that the gauge needle is between the 3/4 mark and the F. As soon as i start the engine, the needle points to the F again. Any idea what needs to be done? Do you think its because I haven't done my 60k tuneup just yet?

When the ignition is off, the fuel gauge reading is meaningless. The behavior you report is normal.
