On curved surfaces it would be a pita to apply with no wrinkles.

This crap is even more ridiculous....

I don think so, but I can check. But they were pretty visible during the day and I didnt catch too much slack for them when getting inspected.
Im currently installing LEDs in them at the moment so the future pics will be brighter anyway.

Is the niteshades really worth the $20 for a little 7oz can? Do you have to keep putting on multiple coats as time goes on?

Heres some crappy pics, the lens on the driver side are the pre tinted tails from Ebay.
Daytime pic, no power

Lights on (note the right outer bulb was on its way out)

With the brakes applied

So, even with the nightshades applied plenty of light still gets through.
Once I have the LEDs in, I will be tinting my tails much darker. With the increased brightness of the LEDs they should still be quite visible.

Pics?
Thats almost like applying the Vinyl, except I would imagine the vinyl would hold up better.
Window tint is not meant to be exposed to the elements of nature.

tinting taillights with vinyl a lot easier and less hassle than nightshades. i did my tails with red vinyl. didnt have to tape or remove anything, sand, clear or any of that crap. by the way the most 350z guys use smoked vinyl for their tails.
