someone on here said they weighed their rear seat, it weighed 29lbs if i recall correctly. the front seat weighs more... probably like 40-45lbs if i were to guess... even though i havent had it out.

the power seats weigh a LOT more than the non-powered.

i'm actually looking for someone with a cloth tan interior to swap driver's seats with. i have a power seat and want a non-powered seat, not because of the weight difference, but because when I'm waiting for people, i like to recline back, and sometimes I like to just pop the seat back up.

btw, on a car like the max, a slight loss of weight doesn't improve 1/4 mile times as much as it does in small displacement 4cyl engines. theoretically, any loss in weight will help however.

In response to your posting. I've been looking for a power seat to replace my manual. I also live in San Francisco. The only problem is that my cloth interior is blue, not tan. This shouldn't cause a big problem though, because there are color seat covers available specially for maximas.

When I installed my leather covers, I noticed that the seat cover for powered driver's seat was different from the non-powered passenger side.
