reset ecu after knock sensor replaced

Well my cutting out at the upper rpms caued the code for the knock sensor so I replaced it with an autozone one today, it runs soo much better up to 3k but it still cuts out in the upper rpm, even after resetting the ecu, and the code is gone, no check engine lights. Does this just take time to go away or what else could it be?

Cutting out at high RPM is not KS related.

More likely MAF related or something else.

Seems as if the KS was not the problem...

it will be climbing smoothly and then cause you to jerk in your seat, it will not go past 5k rpms no matter what doesn't matter if I keep it floored.

its probably your MAF sensor. i had a similar problem. how do you mean you "tested" it? well even if you unplug it you still wont be able to tell unless you get out driving. its most likely an electrical short in the MAF sensor itself.

If I were you I would also pull out all the coilpacks and inspect them. make sure they are connected properly on the plugs as well.

Check the fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator.
The KS has nothing to do with your "cutting out" problem.
