215-series tires on 300zx rims?
i want to know if i could run 215/55/16 tires on 300zx NA rims? I forget how wide they are, but just want to know because I have a set of these tires, and dont really feel like purchasing a new set. Thanks

yah i figured they would be too small, just wanted to hear some opinions. Thanks, anyone else running z wheels w/ a drop and rsb ? I have 5 stars on, but will it handle alot better with the z rims? Are the Z rims direct swap?
My current suspenison:
-Eibach/Agx
-RSB

dont get me wrong 215 can fit.
For example if you got the toyo proxes 4 for the Z wheels. their 215 size tire can fit on wheels with a width from 6" - 7.5"

It depends on the type of setup you want. Most might want to try and get atleast 225 tires to have a wider stance for better handling and grip. If this doesnt apply to you and you can get a deal on the 215 then go ahead.
they are bolt ons. some needed spacers for the rears due to the offsett. another method would be to find two sets of front rims for your car.

215/55s should be fine. 225/50 is stock for Z32s, and 215/55 is stock for an SE. You're talking about a taller sidewall and only 10mm narrower section width. They might be a tiny bit stretched but nothing unsafe.
NA Z rims are 16*7.5, as stated previously.
I'm running TT Z32 rims with a drop (Progress + Koni yellows). They're a direct fit and I haven't experienced any rubbing. You won't notice a difference between stock SE rims and Z rims if you put the same tires on 'em.
