Battery & Brake Light
Battery & Brake Light
OK folks...here's the scoop. My battery and brake light are on, well, they've been on. Recently, my alternator stopped working, so today I put a new one in thinking it would get rid of the lights. So this is my 5th alternater (made them check it before I bought it and it was good) since February and the battery and brake lights are still on. I check the voltage and it is charging between 14.7-15.1v (depending on what accesories are on). So I thought it may be the battery...returned the old one, and got a better one and still the same. So, essentially, I changed the alternator, battery, brake fluid, and checked all the major fuses but I can't seem to figure out why the hell the damn dash lights are contantly on! What are all of the possible reasons for these to be on?
Have 95 GLE same problem I have checked all electrial readings based on print out Nissan dealer mechanic gave me. Everthing checks ok but lights stay on unless I rev to 4000 rpms then lights go out. When I restart lights come back on again.
