I noticed that one end of this hose is not connected on my car...
where is it supposed to go or is it simply there to suck air in?

This is not a pic of my engine bay... the end where the "clip" is,bends downwards and connects to a pipe underneath, but where does the other end of this tube go???

 

It's suppose to be like that. It leads to the transmission and is for venting.

 

More importantly though, the answer to this question is in one of the stickies at the top of this forum.

 

It's supposed to be left hanging.

well I wasn't sure since there was no pics indicating if it's the pipe/tube I was mentionning about..
