dents and ding removal

whats the best way of removing dents
or is my only option to pay a buttload to get it done at a shop

i also have a decently big dent in the front of the hood. looks like previous owner somehow drove into a pole to dent the hood. i know this has to be torched and remolded. only option? and this is gonna cost a buttload?

Big dents in hoods are not repaired. Cost of replacement (aftermarket) hood is under 300 bucks. It's more cost effective to replace it. Same goes for a fender, there like 80 bucks.

Tourched and remolded???

ive heard (from a mechanic as well) they torch the inside of the hood and then remold the dent out. the dent is in the front of the hood.

You can torch and remold a platic bumper but not metal. It still won't look the same as factory.

Believe it or not, I used the Ding King that you see on the infomercials. It works good on larger dents, not so good on the small tight dings. You will never get it back to perfect, but it can make it look not so obvious. I think I paid $25 for my kit.
