WTF......weird yellow little pop corn seed thing

Hi,guys i was checking out the car and the fluids. i saw something in the coolant bottle (located near the washer filler). I saw some weird yellow pop corn seed looking like thing soft as a spoonge maybe a seafoam don't know. I was here reading on a article about the new major brand coolants being harmful to the engine due to the particle it contains i beleve it's called the Silicone. also the bottle is alittle dirty yellow colored could that mean the coolant nedds to be flushed and refill or just a flush thanks....

it's mold- take out the whole unit(not the radiator but the reservoir) and wash it- put some bleach in- replace and then refill.

atleast that's what the Service Manager at Cerritos Nissan told me.
