sorry, but I think SprintMax is wrong, I've seen a GS430 with 17" wheels and a IS300 with 17" next to each otehr at the dealer and they were slightly different. It may look the same because of the 5 spoke design but if you look closely the grooves are a little bit different.

and when did we start listening to dealers..

the rims are both 17x7.5 on 235/40 rubber

now why would lexus make 2 identical rims of the same size on the same rubber .. slightly different? just think about it

actually

They are different. The GS wheels are a smoother 5 spoke design and are 17X8 with 235/45/17 tires. The IS wheels have a slightly different design and are 17X7 with 215/45/17 tires.

I doubt you can get them without the L. You can prob find an aftermarket rim that is similar without the L.

Good luck

The "L" symbol just pops out, like most center caps. Well this was the case with my GS rims

Yeah, but what can you replace it with?

you can get the wheels but you might have to bore out the center becuase the Maximas are bigger. Some guy put GS400 17" wheels on his maxima and he had to bore out the center hold a little bit.

I seen 'blank' centercaps available, only in chrome.
