Need help quick on rims

Bought some rims with 42mm offset and the guys from the tire shop were the tires are being mounted are trying to tell my that the 17x7.5 will not fit on my car with 205/45/zr17s tires on them....Im not in town and my roomate is having it done for me and i can't be there to see it so if i can get some help It would be much appriciated

Not sure about the wheels but I see you're looking for clear tails. Make your own, I did. Unless you don't like that look, then nevermind.

Here's a lil info from Cheston's website.

For the Max, stay within 35-40mm OFFSET when buying a rim. A good overall suggestion for 17x8 rims is to go with 235/45 tires, and for 18x8 rims, go with 235/40 tires.

yet some more info.

Rims: 16X6.5 Tires: 215-55/16 (225-50/16 will fit)
Rims: 17X7 Tires: 215-50/17 (225-45/17 will fit)
Rims: 17X7.5 Tires: 235-45/17
Rims: 17X8 Tires: 235-45/17
Rims: 18X8 Tires: 235-40/18

front sway bar?

the guy at the tire shop wass saying that the rim and tire may hit the front sway bar?is it possible..the tires are al
ready there
